The Catholic University of America

Welcome New Students!

Dear New Students,

Welcome to CUA! We are so happy to have you join us. This is a very exciting time for you. You will find that CUA has a lot to offer you - a variety of student organizations and service projects, spiritual engagement, internship opportunities in Washington, D.C., and outstanding faculty who are ready to engage you in new ideas.

To assist you in your transition to The Catholic University of America, the university offers an online Orientation program, which is designed to address basic transitional needs and provide students with an understanding of student services and resources. In addition, CUA offers a personalized Orientation program for students transitioning to Catholic in the spring semester. You will be paired with an Orientation Advisor, a current student, who will write to you over break and meet you when you get to campus in 2015. Your Orientation Advisor can answer any questions you might have and direct you to resources at the University. In addition, please call 202-319-6003 and schedule an appointment to meet with Ana Lincoln, Assistant Director of Campus Activities, within the first couple weeks of the semester to discuss your transition and orient you to the services CUA has to offer.

Our staff is here to help you in your CUA experience. Please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance via phone at 202-319-5627 or via e-mail at cua-orientation@cua.edu.

We look forward to seeing you around campus!

Sincerely,

Katie Jennings
Senior Associate Dean of Students and Director of Campus Activities
