Welcome New Students!
Welcome to CUA! We look forward to meeting you over the course of the next few weeks. This is a very exciting time for you and your family. You will find that CUA has a lot to offer you - a variety of student organizations and service projects, spiritual engagement, internship opportunities in Washington, D.C., and outstanding faculty who are ready to engage you in new ideas.
To assist in your transition to The Catholic University of America, the university offers the four-day orientation program, which is designed to address basic transitional needs and provide you with an understanding of student services and resources. You will be paired up with an orientation advisor, a current student, who should have contacted you over the summer and whom you will meet with at orientation. A detailed PDF version of the schedule was e-mailed to you in late July (and can be found here http://orientation.cua.edu/res/docs/Schedule1.pdf ), newsletters have been posted monthly, and you should have recently received information on Orientation Extended.
New beginnings are both exciting and challenging; CUA's orientation program will help you enjoy this new beginning and provide a solid start on your first semester. I hope you will take an opportunity to learn about CUA, its people and resources.
Our staff is here to help you in your CUA experience. Please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance via phone at 202-319-5627 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to seeing you!
