The Catholic University of America

Dear New Students,

Welcome to The Catholic University of America! We are so happy that you have joined us. This is a very exciting time for you and your family. You will find that CUA has a lot to offer you - a variety of student organizations and service projects, spiritual engagement, internship opportunities throughout Washington, D.C., and outstanding faculty who are ready to engage you in new ideas.

To continue to assist you in your transition to Catholic, the University offers an online Orientation program, which is designed to address basic transitional needs and provide students with an understanding of student services and resources. In addition, CUA offers a personalized Orientation program for students transitioning into Catholic University in the spring semester. You will be paired with an Orientation Advisor, a current student, who will write to you and meet you when you get to campus in 2018. Your Orientation Advisor can answer any questions you might have and direct you to resources at the University. In addition, please call 202-319-5619 or email to schedule a meeting with someone in the Dean of Students Office within the first couple weeks of the semester to discuss your transition and orient you to the services CUA has to offer.

Our staff is here to help you in your CUA experience. Please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance via phone at 202-319-5627 or via email

We look forward to seeing you around campus!
